With a solid blue-collar foundation as a Refractory Bricklayer and later as a Brokk operator, Burchill's hands-on experience and technical knowledge have been pivotal in his leadership role. His extensive background in the field has enabled him to navigate complex challenges and spearhead innovative solutions within the industry. As CEO of Furnace Solutions, Chad brings over twenty years of dedicated leadership in the minerals and metals processing industry. With a First Class Honours degree in Applied Science, Chad has effectively blended academic knowledge with practical experience, refining his strategic and operational capabilities.

Throughout his career, Chad has held key roles in regional and global leadership, overseeing business development, strategic planning, team management, and financial management within the minerals and metals processing sector. His experience has equipped him with skills in driving organizational excellence, expanding international markets, fostering collaborative work environments, and maintaining a strong focus on customer service. Chad's track record underscores his consistent dedication to achieving results and driving meaningful change, coupled with robust business and financial management capabilities.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jeremy Mulcahy, CFO of Furnace Solutions is a finance professional with over 20 years of extensive experience across a broad range of industries including mining services, import and wholesale, manufacturing and construction services. Jeremy is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and an Associate member of the Governance Institute of Australia and has demonstrated expertise in finance, corporate governance, and risk management.

In his role, Jeremy oversees the financial integrity of Furnace Solutions, managing cash flow, financial reporting, risk, and compliance programs, while also partnering with the executive team to drive business value through strategic initiatives. Throughout his career, Jeremy has built strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and he has a proven track record of effectively communicating financial information to executive teams and board members, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

GLOBAL PROJECT DIRECTOR

As the Global Project Director at Furnace Solutions, Austin McWilliams embodies a seasoned professional with a wealth of expertise in project management spanning over 17 years. Specializing in the mining, energy, and oil & gas sectors, Austin joined the company in February 2024, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to safety, customer requirements and innovation throughout his distinguished career. His adeptness in handling pressure situations and executing projects seamlessly during shutdowns reflects a unique ability to maintain composure and deliver targeted solutions to any project complications. With a track record of success, Austin McWilliams is a key asset in steering Furnace Solutions towards excellence in global project execution.

HSERQ MANAGER

Serving as the Health, Safety, Environment, Risk & Quality (HSERQ) Manager at Furnace Solutions, Cliff possesses over two decades of experience in global operational and corporate management roles across all phases of the mining lifecycle. With a background rooted in operational and technical expertise within high-risk settings, Cliff adeptly utilizes data insights and collaborates with operational functions to devise progressive and pragmatic HSEQ strategies. His primary focus lies in mitigating HSEQ incidents and enhancing outcomes for personnel, clients, and organizations alike. Through fostering trust and embracing a collaborative ethos, Andrew cultivates a culture of shared responsibility and empowerment, facilitating the implementation of HSERQ and training initiatives. Demonstrating unwavering consistency, he has been integral to driving Furnace Solutions key performance indicators while minimizing risk across the entire organisation.

OPERATIONS MANAGER – ADMINISTRATION

Annie is a professional with more than 15 years of diverse expertise in administration, finance, and human resource management. Serving as the Office & Administration Manager, Annie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Throughout her career, she has consistently showcased a knack for streamlining procedures, maximising resource utilisation, and elevating operational effectiveness. Annie's unwavering dedication to excellence and steadfast commitment to organisational goals position her as a valuable asset. Annie is known for her strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and exceptional leadership capabilities.

WA OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager, Leon brings with him over three decades of invaluable mechanical expertise in the mining and metal processing industry. Leon's extensive background is underscored by a dual trade certificate in Fitting and Turning/Mechanical Fitting, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Business. His journey began at Western Mining Corporation - Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter, where he completed his apprenticeships, laying the foundation for his career in Mining Services. Prior to joining Furnace Solutions in 2023, Leon dedicated over 25 years to two major international OEM companies, serving in diverse leadership capacities across Field and Site Services. Notably, he culminated his tenure as Field Service Director for Asia, Middle East, and Africa. With such rich experience and a passion for excellence, Leon and his team are committed to maintaining and enhancing the exceptional customer experience we strive to deliver.

SA OPERATIONS MANAGER

Serving as the Operation Manager at Furnace Solutions, Leue boasts an extensive background in leadership roles within the mining and processing industry, spanning over two decades. His professional journey has been marked by significant contributions in operations and maintenance for both clients and contracting partners. Leue's expertise particularly shines in large-scale demolition projects, a domain in which he has excelled for years prior to joining Furnace Solutions in 2020. Since his induction into the company, Leue has actively collaborated with clients to oversee the successful completion of demolition and mechanical tasks. This has entailed aiding in scope definition, meticulously planning, and executing both planned and unforeseen projects. Through Leue's adept management and strategic collaboration with clients, the operational team at Furnace Solutions has flourished, ensuring the continued success of their clientele.

EXECUTION STRATEGY MANAGER

Holding the role of Execution Strategy Manager, Stearnes boasts a rich background spanning two decades within the metals processing industry. His professional journey commenced as an apprentice Fitter & Turner in the machining and fabrication sector, later transitioning into fixed plant maintenance and shutdowns. Throughout his career trajectory, Stearnes honed considerable expertise in furnace operations, maintainability, and constructability. Notably, his adeptness lies in implementing solutions for clients, leveraging his profound technical and practical knowledge to attain desired outcomes effectively.

QLD OPERATIONS MANAGER

Kai Iseelbacher is a seasoned project manager with a distinguished tenure at Furnace Solutions, having been with the company since its inception. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded and successfully completed numerous major projects, including the MSD19, Iluka SR2 rebuilds, and large complex acid plant shutdowns at Murrin Murrin Operations. With a proven track record of delivering exceptional results, Kai now assumes the role of Operations Manager for Queensland, where he is dedicated to driving growth and enhancing operational efficiency across the region. His unwavering commitment to excellence and strategic leadership make him an invaluable asset to the organization.
